This past week we had the honor of having Daniel Bean join us as our guest speaker. Daniel brought us up to speed on all the work they have been doing, not only to the USS Orleck, but including work on the dock. They’ve added new lighting and created a more realistic feeling of being on an actual aircraft carrier flight deck.
Daniel also showed a powerful video and spoke of the great work that K9s for Warriors does for servicemen and woman suffering from PTSD. I would also like to personally thank our very own member, Paul Bednar, for his many contributions to this fine organization.
On behalf of our Club President Michael Best and your 2024 officers, I would like to wish you all a happy and safe Labor Day weekend and hope to see you at our next meeting or upcoming networking events!
