Issue 275, April 13, 2025

What a wonderful week I had being your 2025 President; I don’t think I could be any prouder of our members than I am right now. Last Saturday, a group of our members lead by Adam Canni took time to volunteer with the Riverkeepers and pitched in to clean up our city. GREAT JOB to all who helped with this event and thank you! Then, on Tuesday at 10am, over fifteen of our club members came together to help welcome fellow club member Shela Stallings and First Federal Bank in their grand opening. The outpouring of support for a fellow member made me realize just how much of a family this club truly is.

This week brought another well attended meeting with some old and new faces in attendance for once again a lot of laughs, door prizes, and networking. The staff at Maggiano’s has been going above and beyond for us, and with the bigger room I feel more comfortable having plenty of room for our continual growth.

At our board meeting, we discussed things that we feel would make your experience even better and provide even more value to your membership. We discussed offering Group Health insurance plans to help small businesses and individuals save money. We hope to have more on this for you in the coming months. We discussed the ability to incorporate an SBMC APP in order for members to keep up with the latest things going on right from your smart phone. Also, we discussed revolving payments; making it easier for members to renew and pay dues either monthly or annually.

I hope you will join me at our next meeting. Look forward to seeing you there.

2025 President
